The Star Business Online - Lacklustre Debut For Reach Energy Shares But Warrants Surge

KUALA LUMPUR: Reach Energy Bhd’s shares slumped on its trading debut on Bursa Malaysia on Friday, opening at 72.5 sen or 2.5 sen below its offer price of 75 sen each as investors chased its warrants.
At 9.04am, it was trading flat at 75 sen. There were 49.17 million shares traded at prices ranging from 72 sen to 75.5 sen.
Its warrants, which were issued free with the subscription of the shares, jumped 27 sen to 27.5 sen. Turnover was 95.88 million units valued at 27 sen to 29 sen.
