Reference is made to the Company's previous announcements dated 8 September 2017 (References number CS4-07092017-00006 and CS2-07092017-00010) pertaining to the cessation of deemed interest of Tan Sri Dr. Azmil Khalili Bin Dato' Khalid ("Tan Sri Dr. Azmil") held through MTD Capital Bhd ("MTD") in the Company (149,245,700 shares equivalent to 13.612% of the total issued and paid up share capital of REB).

In connection thereto and apart from the above, the Board of Directors ("Board") of REB takes cognizance of the fact that Tan Sri Dr. Azmil no longer represents MTD, a substantial shareholder of the Company as Tan Sri Dr. Azmil is no longer the nominee director of MTD on the Board of REB, following Tan Sri Dr. Azmil's resignation from MTD on 24 August 2017. Further, based on the deliberation at the Special Nomination Committee Meeting and Board Meeting both held respectively, the Board had concurred that Tan Sri Dr. Azmil be retained on the Board of REB on his own accord.
